Welcome to Tonino's, where our story is as authentic as the Italian flavors we serve, offering a contemporary spin on traditional Italian sandwiches. At the heart of our kitchen is the culinary legacy of two Italian immigrants who took a chance at a better life in Canada and landed in Montreal with nothing but their hopes and determination.  Nonno Antonio (1932-2012), affectionately known as Tonino, and Nonna Maria inspired me to take another leap of faith generations later and establish this culinary destination, with my own hopes and determination (and a few of Nonna's "borrowed" recipes) so that our family can share with you the beating heart of Abruzzo, Italy, our food.

With his old-world charm and love for traditional recipes, Nonno Antonio instilled in me a deep appreciation for the art of Italian cuisine, charcuterie, wine, and cheese-making. These cherished family memories passed down through generations, become the cornerstone of Tonino's. We're not just a restaurant; we're a celebration of family, tradition, and community and the incredible flavors that bring all of us together.
